Every so often, I get the craving to play a live show. Slightly rarer, but just as persuasive, is the appeal of going on tour. While cataloging a list of potential music distribution sites, it occurred to me that as musicians, we no longer have to worry about finding a place to sell independent music online. Several months ago, I downloaded a free 2-disc album from a band that a myspace friend had recommended to me. It has been sitting on my PC since then. I just never got around to listening to it or burning it.
